Sandra Lynne Quayle passed away Jan. 30, 2022 in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 73. She was born Feb. 29, 1948 in Chilliwack, BC. Sandi is survived by her husband Allen, her daughter Alandra, and her son Steven (Lynn), her grandchildren Sophia, Emma, and Miles, her brothers Keith (Sharon) and David (Rhoda), and many other beloved family members. She was predeceased by her parents Jean and Clair Alaric, and in a tragic accident in 1972 her sister Nola and her brothers Kia Ora (Bingo) and Earl.
Sandi was a long-time resident of Hope, with innumerable friends and family members in the community. During her life she worked at many places, including the post office, several of the local schools, and ran the Hope Brewing Company. Her most important job was always taking care of family, which she devoted herself to without a second thought for herself. She was known for her warm smile and kind nature and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Feb. 21, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Hope, BC. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, vaccine passports will be required for attendance, and there will also be a livestream available at https://m.youtube.com/c/GBCHope.
