February 2, 2019
On February 2 2019, we said goodbye to our beautiful Mom and Grandma. Shannon was surrounded with her loving family by her side and in her heart as she slipped away while listening to the sweet sounds of her beloved Louis Armstrong.

Shannon loved being involved in the community of Hope and rarely missed the opportunity to get involved.

She learned to curl while in her 60s and spoke often of how much fun she had.

She always looked forward to her Friday mornings and special events with her TOPS group.

Her true passion, pride and joy lay within the walls of the Hope Art Gallery. It was there that you could find her many talented works of art displayed for sale: her paintings, gnome houses, poinsettia sand dollars and hand made Barbie clothes, just to name a few. She was passionate about making the gallery a success and always took pride in showing guests around the gallery.

She truly cherished and spoke often of her many great friends that she made in Hope. Her sparkling eyes, beautiful smile and sound of her laughter will forever be imprinted in our memories and our hearts.

Our family would like to thank family doctors, Dr. Daniel Haffey & Dr. Ben Love, and medical oncologist Dr. Thao Nguyen for their special care and kindness during our mom's battle with cancer.

A celebration of life will be announced in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hope Art Gallery in her honour would be greatly appreciated.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
