HARRITZ, Sigurd
Sigurd was born in Denmark June 30, 1922 and died in Hope May 21, 2009. He and his wife, Lis, immigrated to Canada in 1954. They raised their 5 daughters in North Vancouver. In his retirement and widowhood Sigurd followed his youngest daughter,Connie and her family, to Hope. He spent his last few years in the Fraser Hope Lodge. He was always an avid outdoorsman and could be seen most days, trundling his walker briskly in and around Hope. He always had a bright smile for everyone he met.
Dad will be missed by his family and friends. His granddaughters, Amelia, Jessica and Sarah, and his great-grandson Nathan will especially miss their Morfar.
