Val leaves behind her sister Heather (Dan) & brother Nyles of Hope BC as well as her nephew Colin and nieces Alana and Liza.
She was predeceased by her mother, father and her common-law husband of 25 years David.
Val was born and raised in West Vancouver where she had a great family life. She moved to Maple Ridge where her and David lived. She had much sickness and hardship for the last 15 years.
She was very talented with her ceramics and artistry and was known for the beautiful pictures that she drew. She was very generous with anything she had. She will be terribly missed by everyone who knew her.
In lieu of flowers please give generously to the Allouette Addictions Services in Maple Ridge BC who gave her support and guidance during the last years of her life.
A family service will be held at a later date.
