HACKETT, Geoffrey William
Geoffrey William Hackett passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Chilliwack, BC at the age of 96 years and 8 months. He was born November 23, 1912 at Broadview, Saskatchewan.
Geoff is survived by Gladys, his loving wife of 67 years; 4 sons, Hank (Eileen), Robert (Carolyn), Rick and John (Lynda); 7 grandchildren, Michael, Cory (Stephanie), Tom, Stephen (Joannie), Geoffrey, Sarah, Brittany and great granddaughter Brooke, as well as many nieces and nephews. Sadly predeceased by his grandson, David.
Geoff worked for the Ford Motor Company for 45 years. He and Gladys enjoyed 28 years of retirement. They enjoyed traveling to Arizona every winter for 22 years. He built 2 houses and 1 boat in his lifetime. He loved being at the cabin at Kawkawa Lake.
Cremation with no service by request.
There will be a family celebration of life at a later date.
