McINNES, WILLIAM ALLEN
William (Bill) Allen McInnes passed away at the Fraser Canyon Hospital on September 07, 2006 at the age of 61 years. Bill is survived by his loving family; sister: Marion Jurgens of Mission, BC; brother: Ron McInnes of Hope, BC; nephews: Rick and Ernest Yeomans; nieces: Sheri Wowchuk, Margaret, Erica and Janet Jurgens; and many great nieces and nephews.
Bill worked as a draftsman for the B.C. Ministry of Environment's Water Management department for 35 years and enjoyed residing in Victoria during that time. He loved that his work required him to travel extensively and he was able to also enjoy his passion for photography in his travels. Bill always spent his long weekends and holidays with his many family and friends. He was always a happy person and will be remembered by many as 'Wild Bill'.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2006 @ 11:00 a.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, 386 Fort Street, Hope, B.C. A reception will follow the Service at the same venue.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Fraser Hope Lodge in Bill's memory.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the Fraser Hope Lodge and Fraser Canyon Hospital staff, and to all of Bill's friends who had helped him in the past.
