I am sending this email in hopes of trying to save our heritage.
The Hope Station House is slated for demolition in March 2021. The Station House Chilliwack was demolished due to negligence from one of the CN officials, and this tragedy should never happen. We need to keep our heritage alive, and we do have the ability to stop this happening to the Hope one.
I grew up in the Station; I have many great memories. We lived there until 1974, when my father passed away from a major heart attack at 41. Please help us to keep this beautiful heritage building so future generations can enjoy our history.
