Update: RCMP announced at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 8, that they have found Cindra.

RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Cindra Lee-Renee John, 18, of Hope.

RCMP said Cindra was last seen on Sunday by friends in the 3000-block of Steqoye Road, Agassiz.

RCMP have described Cindra as an Aboriginal female, 168 centimetres tall (five foot six inches), weighing 50 kilograms (110 pounds), with black hair and black eyes.

RCMP say their investigators believe Cindra is travelling around the Upper Fraser Valley with a male companion in a 1990s black-coloured GMC pickup truck and are asking the public remain watchful for her.

“Police and family are concerned for Cindra’s well-being and believe she may be in need of medical attention,” said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Mike Rail.
