The Abbotsford Canucks posted openings on Aug. 23 for a coordinator, social and digital and a coordinator marketing and game presentation.

The Abbotsford Canucks have posted two job opportunities in the sales and marketing division.

The American Hockey League club posted openings on Aug. 23 for a coordinator, social and digital and a coordinator marketing and game presentation.

According to the job description, the social and digital coordinator is responsible for day-to-day social coverage both at home and on the road for the Abbotsford Canucks, including written, photo, and video coverage on all Canucks social channels and canucks.com.

The position will require the individual to attend practices and games, publish content on social media, shoot video content and engage with fans on social media. He or she will report to the senior director for marketing and corporate partnerships.

The marketing and game presentation coordinator is responsible for fan engagement initiatives during the game and will develop and manage marketing and promotional initiatives in the community.

The position also will coordinate and support the booking and managing of talent on game days and work with the game presentation manager to ensure the game experience is at an excellent standard. He or she will report to the game presentation manager.
