Players are back on the ice today (Saturday, March 26) after day one of the South Coast Women’s Hockey League year-end provincial championship tournament at the Hope and District Recreation Centre.
Six senior AA women’s hockey teams are vying for a B.C. Hockey banner. It’s the highest level of competitive women’s hockey in B.C. and the tournament runs all weekend long (March 25 to 27) in Hope.
Here are the results from Friday’s quarterfinal round robin games (March 25):
Richmond Devils (B) 2, Fraser Valley Jets (B) 0
Meadow Ridge Moose (A) 3, Kamloops Vibe (A) 2
Fraser Valley Jets 4, North Shore Rebels (B) 3
South Fraser TNT (A) 3, Meadow Ridge Moose 1

9 a.m. • Kamloops Vibe versus South Fraser TNT
11:15 a.m. • Richmond Devils versus North Shore Rebels
Semifinal round:
5:15 p.m. • 1st in Pool A versus 2nd in Pool B
7:30 p.m. • 1st in Pool B versus 2nd in Pool A
Schedule for Sunday, March 27:
10 a.m. • Game for 3rd/4th place
12:15 p.m. • Championship game
