In an emergency situation, quickly getting patients where they need to go is essential to ensuring positive outcomes and minimizing complications. When lives are on the line, having a reliable emergency room stretcher is so important.

“The Fraser Canyon Hospital Emergency Department is in need for new stretcher beds and we are glad to raise funds to help replace them,” said Barb Moeller, Past President of the Auxiliary to the Fraser Canyon Hospital.

“It was great that we could support one bed but we want to do more,” explained Moeller. “We are hosting our Spring Fashion Show again with our friends at the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) to help purchase more needed beds.”

“We are pleased to be working with the Auxiliary to raise the needed funds for Hope” said Liz Harris, Executive Director (FVHCF). “Being able to partner with the Auxiliary helps us both do bigger things for Hope.”

The Fashion Show – Spring 2020 will be held at the Hope Golf and Country on April 18. Guests will be treated to entertainment, dinner and will experience local fashion boutiques from Hope to Abbotsford. Their previous fashion shows have sold out so it has been suggested to get your tickets early.

Tickets are $50 with funds supporting the stretcher beds. They are available in person from any of the Auxiliary members, at the Auxiliary Gift shop (in the hospital), online at www.fvhcf.ca/fashionshow or on the phone at 1-877-661-0314.

The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation and the Fraser Canyon Hospital continues to fund vital equipment and programs for Fraser Canyon Hospital. All funds raised in Hope will directly support the Fraser Canyon Hospital.
