Hope MP, Mark Strahl, hosted New Year skating event to ring in 2019

Mark MP hosted a free community skating event at the Hope arena on Jan. 3

On January 3, Hope’s MP, Mark Strahl, sliced into the New Year on a pair of skates as he glided around the rink with more than a dozen kids, and the odd grown-up, from the community.

Off the ice, he was there to talk about the community with his constituents, while sharing a hot chocolate or coffee, and some Timbits.

“Hope’s just such a great community,” said Strahl, smiling at the event.
