A peace tree was dedicated when the Sri-Chinmoy Openess-Home Peace Run torch relay came through town on July 2

The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run stopped in Hope last Wednesday for the first time as part of the North American torch relay. The visit included a dedication of a peace tree next to the bandshell in Memorial Park
