Some days it seems like forever since we had the freedom to come and go as we pleased: but now that the province is beginning to dust off the COVID cobwebs, many are left wondering how, or where, to spend their days. And with summers off from school, perhaps none more than our youth experience a void in their routine, which is where HATS steps in.
Every week, from now until the end of August, the Hope and Area Transition Society (HATS) will be hosting their annual Youth Summer Adventures program in Boston Bar and Hope for youth between the ages of 13 and 18 in Hope, and 10 to 18 in Boston Bar.
With a variety of craft and sporting activities on the menu, the Youth Summer Adventures program is hosted in Hope on Mondays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., and on Tuesdays it runs in Boston Bar at the May Day Fairgrounds, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. And don’t worry about packing a lunch—it’s provided!
For more information, or to view the schedules for the Adventures program, check out the Hope and Area Transition Society’s Facebook Page, or call Bonnie Millward at 604-869-6442.
