VIDEO: Strawberry Social serves up cake and historical fun

Long-time fundraiser continues its legacy

There was live music, family activities, black powder demonstrations, raffle prizes, and barbecued offerings at Yale Historic Site on Sunday.

And all of that was served with a side of Strawberry shortcake at one of the Yale and District Historical Society’s main fundraisers for the year.

Next up is the Canada Day celebration on July 1 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the site.
