Coquihalla Elementary School hosting Kw’ikw’iyá:la art show

Art lovers of Hope looking for more shows to enjoy will get an opportunity to view the works of young artists from Coquihalla Elementary School (CES) next week.

Taking place next Thursday (May 9) at the school, CES is hosting the Kw’ikw’iyá:la art show, an interactive art show that features the works of CES students.

Open to both students and adults, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. visitors will be able to view the creativity of young artists while also getting the chance to enjoy “numerous hands-on art experiences” throughout the evening. This includes artwork and displays that involve graffiti, pottery, painting and desgin, collaborative art, and interactive exhibits.

All are welcome to the free event though CES ask that children attend the show with an adult.
