RCMP seeks help locating elderly Saanich man last seen in Hope

The RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 89-year-old Leslie Desfosses. The Saanich man was last seen in Hope at 4:30 p.m. on May 16, travelling to Lytton.

The RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 89-year-old Leslie Desfosses. The Saanich man was last seen in Hope at 4:30 p.m. on May 16, travelling to Lytton.

Police describe Desfosses as a Caucasian male, 6’2 (188 cm), 179 pounds (81 kgs) with white hair, blue eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a purple t-shirt, brown shorts and brown sandals. He was driving a grey 2012 Subaru Forester with B.C. license place 925SLA.

“Police and family are very concerned for Leslie’s well-being,” said Agassiz RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Mike Sargent.

Anyone with information on Desfosses’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Hope RCMP at 604-869-7750. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
