B.C. Muaythai fighters to meet in Chilliwack for Gladiators series

Fourth sanctioned fight event being hosted by Fraser Valley Muaythai

Muaythai enthusiasts and fight fans alike are gearing up for an electrifying battle as the Gladiators returns to Chilliwack for a night of adrenaline-pumping action. This is the fourth installment, taking place Feb. 17 at the Chilliwack Landing Sports Centre.

The centre will transform into a battleground where warriors from across the province will face off in a series of matches.

Athletes are coming from Burridge Martial Arts, Birdhouse Striking Club, Dream Fighters, East Van Muaythai, Foundry Martial Arts, Pacific Top Team Kelowna, Pure Martial Arts, and Top Notch Muaythai & Kickboxing, in what’s considered the best Muaythai event in the province.

These fights are full rules – meaning for all fights, elbows and knees to the head are permitted. Organizers say fans can expect a night filled with “high-energy entertainment, heart-pounding action, and unforgettable moments.”

It is a night where months of intense training and preparation culminate, and athletes can showcase their skills and test their mettle against formidable opponents.

There will be food and refreshments available at concession, as well as locally crafted beverages available in the beer garden [19+].

The fights are sanctioned by Muaythai B.C., and presented by Fraser Valley Muaythai.

“We are excited to bring pure Muaythai to the Fraser Valley with our Gladiators series,” said Fraser Valley Muaythai series president James Bergin. “This is the fourth live event in Chilliwack, and is the product of hard work, dedication, and passion from the fighters all the way through to the volunteers. It is not just about competition, it is about showcasing the discipline, skill, and respect that Muaythai embodies. We invite the community to join us unforgettable night of live fights.”
