Break-in at Cooper’s Foods in Hope

An undisclosed quantity of cigarettes stolen Friday morning

An undisclosed quantity of cigarettes were stolen from Cooper’s Foods early Friday morning.

Hope RCMP said the grocery store was broken into at about 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 18 and the thief left a half hour later in a vehicle, heading towards the freeway. Police believe someone was waiting in the getaway car.

The thief is described as a caucasian man, about 5’8″-6′ feet tallĀ  with medium build. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a grey hoodie.
