A COVID-19 vaccination clinic is being held in Hope on Sunday, Dec. 12.

The clinic will run from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Legion, at 344 Fort Street.

Book an appointment at the provincial government’s Get Vaccinated website, at gov.bc.ca. Put on a mask before entering the clinic, and bring photo ID and your Care Card, if possible.

The COVID-19 vaccination and testing centre that is normally operating at the Fraser Canyon Hospital was closed last week so that health care workers could focus on the extreme weather situations taking place in Hope.

Hope has been among the lower vaccinated communities in the Fraser Valley. However for those who are getting vaccinated, the rates of third booster shots are higher than other communities.
