The Fraser Canyon and Coquihalla Highway will see up to 25 centimetres of snow by Friday evening, with possibly hazardous driving conditions.
Both areas have already had five to 10 centimetres of snow fall overnight. Environment Canada is warning another 10 to 15 centimetres is possible by early evening.
Weather can change suddenly in the mountains, Environment Canada stated, making driving conditions hazardous. Check the conditions before heading out on the highway and use winter tires and chains, the agency reminded drivers.
