Hope fire department says cause still under investigation

A small home on Johnson Road by Kawkawa Lake was destroyed by fire on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hope Fire Department reports that nobody was injured in the fire, but that the fire is still under investigation. The home was reported to be empty at the time, awaiting new renters.
