The District of Hope has issued a state of local emergency due to an evacuation along the Nicolum River.
An address on Tunnels Road is being evacuated due to overland flooding, which could compromise access, according to the District.
Photos and video have been shared to social media showing extensive flooding along Othello Road, which sits adjacent to Tunnels Road.

The District is telling evacuees to register at the Abbotsford Tradex located at 1190 Cornell St, or at ess.gov.bc.ca.
