It is with great sadness that the family of Amalia (Miravic), announces the sudden passing on July 27, 2022 into the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ, and Heavenly Father.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants." Psalm 116:15
She was born the daughter of Godelia and Rodolfo in the Philippines. Amalia left her home and family to come to Canada in 1991, where she lived in Hope, BC until her passing.
Amalia is survived by her daughter, son and two grandchildren. Her daughter, Amanda Alburo Watts, and her son, Jacob Alburo Watts. She was a loving and devoted mother to her daughter Amanda and her son Jacob; and a loving and devoted grandmother to her two grandchildren, Blaze Jacob and Winston Kimber.
She loved going to church with her two children, and friends. Amalia was very gentle and kind, and always respectful to others. She loved to cook for her family as well as her dearest friends.
In her later years she worked for McDonalds in Hope, BC.
Amalia's wish was that she would be able to return to her home in Philippines where she had grown up and lived until she immigrated to her new home in Canada. Her dream was to see and visit her family that she had not seen in 30 years.
Amalia was loved and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
There will be a Celebration of her Life at Grace Baptist Church, 949 Third Avenue, Hope, on Saturday, August 27th at 1:00 pm.
