It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Ann Cromarty, 63, of Hope BC, on June 14, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born in Vancouver on June 28, 1960, and adopted at 10 days old by Heler and Hellen Myhedyn. She grew up and went to school in Hope, where she met and married her devoted husband, Douglas Cromarty in 1981.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, two children; Shamus (Katie) and Celeste Cromarty, three Grandchildren, and her brother, Morris Myhedyn and family. She was predeceased by her parents.
Cheryl worked as an office assistant at Dion Realty and then at Tycrop Manufacturing for 25 years before retirement. She loved spending her time maintaining her extensive garden, digging in the dirt and growing beautiful roses. She always made time for her family. They will share plans for a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name.
