Chris Brion

On November 8, 2022, the Lord called Chris home. We did not want to let him go, but we are rejoicing that he is with his Lord, and has no more pain or struggle.
Chris was Professor Emeritus, Chemistry Department, UBC, where he taught for 41 years before retirement. When they first met, Pauline asked Chris what he did, to which he replied "I am trying to figure out how God put the molecules together." His research, spanning the extent of his career, lead to a better understanding in the scientific community of how God did just that.
Because we loved him dearly we miss him with aching hearts, but he will be remembered for his humility, goodness, humour, smile, love for travel, love for people, and his love for the Lord.
Chris is survived by his wife Pauline, daughters Cathy (Steve), Sue (Terry), son Peter, and five grandchildren.
A celebration and thanksgiving for Chris' life will be held at 2pm, Saturday November 26, 2022 at Grace Baptist Church, 939 Third Avenue, Hope, BC.
