NICHOLS, Daphne
Daphne Nichols passed away on March, 20, 2010 following a brief hospitalization. She was born in Seattle on May 3, 1952 and made Hope her home for the past 15 years.
She always had an artistic flair and worked for many years doing picture framing, including framing her own paintings. She lived at Kawkawa Lake and worked in construction, as a painter, doing home support and as part of the cleaning staff at Best Continental and the Royal Lodge. She was kind and generous and found ways to help her fellow workers.
She is survived by her father, Harold, her sister, Louisa, her brother Mike (Rhonda) and her friend Gloria. Daphne will be missed by her friends at Kawkawa Lake, in Hope, and beyond.
A Celebration of her Life is planned for May 2, 2010 at the Hope Rec Centre at 2:00 p.m. Everyone welcome.
