Gladys Irene Scott passed away on December 06, 2005 in Hope, B.C. at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her husband: Reg and daughter: Donna. Gladys is survived by her loving son, Lyle; and grandchildren, Rodney, Steve, Brian and Loni. A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, December 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hope United Church, 310 Queen Street, Hope, B.C., Pastor Barbara Mason officiated. A reception followed in the United Church Hall. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made on Gladys's behalf to the Brain Association of B.C., P.O. Box 2324, Sardis, B.C. V2R 1A7. Lyle would like to extend a special thank you to Echo Johnson; Shelley Baker; Deena Reis; Jackie Corbett of Home Care; all of the other RN's of Home Care; Gladys's very own group of ladies who enjoyed the last months with her; Theresa Millar; Liz Shankoff; LaRee Russell; Joy Russell; Candice Erikson; Sharon Chernoff; Joan Lundgren; Budinka Rempel and Laura. A very special thought goes out to Dr. Larry Kehler who helped Gladys enjoy her time at home in familiar settings.
