Herbert Gustav 'Herb' Shudeleit

August 15, 1929 - September 3, 2022
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Husband and Father Herb Schudeleit.
He will be remembered with love and affection by his wife of 63 years Ann; daughters Cathy Marshall (Jason) and Christel Atkinson (Brian); nephew Werner Schudeleit (Anka) and many treasured relatives and friends.
After struggling with medical issues over the last two years, Herb finally succumbed to them on the evening of Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at Fraser Canyon Hospital in Hope, B.C.
In typical fashion Herb maintained his kind and gentle nature, his wonderful smile and great positive outlook on life to the very end.
He was a quiet observer of life and the people around him, always willing to help his family, friends and neighbors. He enjoyed sitting in the back yard with the family recounting many happy moments and events, discussing the challenges of life and the problems of the world or just quietly pondering his beautiful gardens at the end of the day.
The family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the Doctors and nurses at Fraser Canyon Hospital for their wonderful care and attention over the past two years.
A Celebration of his life will be held on October 1st at 11:30 at the Boston Bar Community Hall.
