Jack passed away at Peace Arch Hospital at 97 years of age due to COVID complications.
He leaves behind a loving wife, Susan in Edmonton as well as 6 loving children: Gary, Cheryl, Debbie, Kerry, Brent and Mark. As well as 2 loving stepchildren Mike & Crystal and Kieth & Cory Campbell of Hope, whom he loved as if his own.
Jack had several adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was well loved by all who knew him and was highly regarded in Hope for his service work for the town including at the arena, the Japanese Garden, plus bringing the stones for the carvings downtown.
He was well known for his fish n chip shop "The Cove" in downtown Hope.
A wonderful man has passed from earth but Heaven rejoices for his presence there. He will always be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
A quiet riverside memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13 for family and close friends.
