James (Jim) Edward Daniel, passed away at the Shuswap Lake General Hospital on December 07, 2019 at the age of 66.
Jim was Born on Feb 4, 1953 in Deep River Ontario. He finished high school in 1977, and started working as an apprentice electrician at Algoma Steel in Sault St. Marie before moving to B.C were he settled into his life long career with C.P. Rail in 1978. He continued to work for C.P Rail until he retired in 2009. Jim lived with his wife Debbie in Hope B.C until 1990 when they moved their growing family to Revelstoke, B.C. In 2017 Jim and Debbie sold their home in Revelstoke and settled into their new home in Sicamous B.C. Jim loved spending his time walking his dog Diesel, sharing wild stories with his friends and family, taking his family on adventures and eating ice-cream with his grandkids.
Jim is survived by his Wife, Debbie Daniel ; His three son's Bruce (Leeta) Taylor, Earl Taylor and Bill(Catherine) Daniel; His two daughter's Jennifer Daniel (James) , and Patricia Daniel(Heath) ; His three Grandchildren Emma Taylor, Liam Daniel, and Emily Daniel ; His two brothers Paul Daniel, and David Daniel (Laurel); His sister Carolyn Daniel (Joe); his Brother-in-Law Mike (Peggy) Geluch; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Jim was pre-deceased by his Father James Daniel, Mother Lillian Daniel, Father-in-law Stanley Geluch, and Sister-in-law Lisa Daniel.
Jim's family would like everyone to join them in celebrating the life of our beloved Husband, Father, Brother and Friend on May 16th 2020 at the Elk Hall in Salmon-Arm. More details will be announced at a later date.
