Jeanette (Jean) Martindale passed away peacefully in her sleep at 100 Mile House, B.C. Jean was predeceased by her husband Clinton Martindale in 2017, and her grandson Luke Martindale in 2007. She is survived by her 6 children, Linda Limb (Rick), Joanne Miller (Dennis), Wanda Prest (Bud), Coleen Stoutjesdyk (James), Gary Martindale (Carrie), and Darrin Martindale (Tracy). She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jean was a long time resident of Hope, and was involved with the Hospital Auxiliary, United Church, and well known for her many years with Avon. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. If desired, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Society of Canada (alzheimer.ca). A celebration of life will be held in spring 2020, date to be announced.
