It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Donald Nichols on Sunday September 9, 2018 at the Fraser Hope Lodge at age 88 years. He was born on October 30, 1929 in Chilliwack BC.
Don is survived by his wife Joan, sons Reed (Jody) and D'Arcy (Joy), grandchildren Mitchell, Kaitlin, Liam and Zachary, and sister Vi Vickerson. He was predeceased by his brother Alex and sister Rhoda Dennis.
Don worked for Emil Anderson Construction for 46 years and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers 115 for 68 years.
There will be no service at Don's request. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Fraser Hope Lodge Extended Care or a charity of choice.
