Ken passed away peacefully on November 5, 2019. He was predeceased by his daughter Laura, wife Marie, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his loving partner Gayle Owens, son David, grandchildren: Ken Pinto, Johnny, Sarah, Laura and great grandson Connor. He is also survived by his brothers Malcolm and Donald and his nephews, nieces and cousins.
Ken spent many years as captain of tugs for Kingcome Navagation towing on the coastal waters. After his wife passed, Ken retired to Sunshine Valley where he enjoyed the last years of life travelling with Gayle until health issues arose and he spent his time bird watching and visiting with family and friends. Ken will always be remembered for his kindness, quick wit and ability to create laughter.
