It is with great sadness the family of Lorna Cooke announces her passing on February 14, 2023, at the age of 78.
Lorna is lovingly remembered by her children: son Duane (Corinne), daughter Corinna (Jeff), and son Everett (Nicole) along with her seven grandchildren: Matthew, Catherine, Tenley, Gary, Sarah, Vaya, and Rayleigh.
Also sharing life long memories of Lorna is her sister, Ellen and brother, Murray.
She was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) Cooke (2011) and parents Leonard and Laura Burdett.
She was known for her baking, crosswords, and her enjoyment of strong coffee and Pepsi. Lorna's husband Bill was her strength and she was his.
Following moms wishes, there will be no service though her ashes will be interred with Dad's later this year in Hope, British Columbia.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorna's name may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
