NUTTALL, Lorne Richard

Lorne was taken from us suddenly January 2, 2010 in a motor vehicle accident West of Kamloops, BC.

Lorne was born in Hope, BC on October 10, 1970 to Jim and Mabel Nuttall of Boston Bar, BC. Lorne grew up in Boston Bar and after spending a brief time in Vancouver and Alberta he returned to Boston Bar where he fell in love and settled down with his life partner, Christine Grafinger and their two sons, Leigh and Curtis.

Lorne spent the majority of his life logging. He worked highlead, skidder, hoe chuck as well as heli logging shows in the Boston Bar and Fraser Valley areas. Lorne also logged for a small time in the Ft. Nelson area. The past 6 years he worked in the oil patch of Alberta operating an excavator on a natural gas drilling rig.

Lorne is mourned by his mother Mabel; partner Christine; sons Leigh & Curtis; his two sisters Sherri Nuttall of Grande Prairie & Sheryl (Darren Famulak) of Hope; nieces Sharice Nuttall, Casondra Murphy, Season & Skyla Dyck; nephews Cole & Michael Grafinger. He is also mourned by many aunts, uncles, cousins, & close friends too numerous to mention.

Lorne will be greatly missed for his big smile, quick laughter & having a heart bigger than he was. No matter how busy he was, he always made time for people. A celebration of Lorne’s life will be held at the Boston Bar Community Hall Saturday, January 30th, 2010 starting at 11:00 am
