INGRAM, Lorraine. It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, sister, and aunt on Friday, February 17, 2012. She left us for a happier place, but our hearts are heavy.

Lorraine was born in Rosthern, SK on August 19, 1932 to Ben and Leona Samletzki. She leaves to mourn, her children, Warren Purdy of Langley, BC, Cameron Purdy of Calgary, AB, Jacqueline Purdy-Davis (Alden) of Denver, Colorado, Mirruh Karcey (Jeff Langstaff) of Annapolis Royal, NS; sisters, Kathleen Lean (Norman) and Irene Partridge; grandson, Taylor Davis; nephews, Terry Penno (Susan Prue), and Gordon Karaloff; great nieces, Alannah Penno, and Kristal Karaloff; great great niece, Shyanne; along with many cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ben and Leona Samletzki; an infant sister and brother; her son, Darcy Purdy; brother-in-law, Jim Partridge; and niece, Dana Karaloff. Lorraine loved music and started playing the piano, by ear, at an early age. She always had a special place in her heart for all animals and was known far and wide for her baking abilities that she was always giving away. Lorraine loved watching hockey, especially HER Vancouver Canucks. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 217 Lenore Drive, Saskatoon with Rev. Fr. Lawrence DeMong, OSB as celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated. To send online condolences to the family, visit www.parkfuneral.ca.
