Marion Edna Gibson passed away at the Fraser Canyon Hospice in Hope, B.C. on November 08, 2006 at the age of 72 years. She was predeceased by her father: Kenneth, mother: Edna and brothers: Donald, Albert and Ralph.
Marion is survived by her loving family; husband: Don, sons: Bill (Trish) and Rick (Angie), grandchildren: Taylor, Ethan, Brittany and Cashe.
Marion loved to sew and make quilts as well as doing a variety of craftwork, which included working with pictures on her computer. She also loved to relax at the trailer at Nicola Lake.
A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 @1:00 p.m. at the Hope Centre, 888 Third Avenue, Hope, B.C. Reverend Dr. Archie Pell officiated.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made on Marion's behalf to the Fraser Canyon Hospice Society.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Nyirenda and the nurses at Fraser Canyon Hospital, the Palliative Care staff - especially Deena Reis, the nursing staff at the Surrey Cancer Clinic and all of the close Gibson family friends for their great support and food.
