Rena Estelle Harris passed away peacefully on January 30, 2005, with her beloved husband Jim, by her side.
Rena is survived by her husband: Jim Harris; children: Salley (Rex) Swett, Russell (Eillen) Barnes, Dayn (Suzanne) Barnes, Vaughan Barnes; mother: Virginia Vaughan; brothers: Jack (Terry) Vaughan, Glenn (Nonia) Vaughn; and 7 grandchildren. Rena had a love of golf, fly fishing and attending to her garden. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Fourie, the FCH nursing staff, and Deena Reis of Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation on Rena's behalf to the Canadian Cancer Society. Rena will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2005 at 1:00 p.m., at the Mountainside Funeral Chapel, 1270 Ryder Street, Hope, B.C.
