SHAUGHNESSY, STANLEY JOSEPH
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Stanley Joseph Shaughnessy at the age of 74 years @ the Fraser Canyon Hospital in Hope, B.C., on September 22, 2006.
Stan is survived by his loving wife: Joy of 54 years, his children: Doug (Ruth), Kirk (Joan), Craig (Ursula), and Kim (Evin), grandchildren: Sarah, Scott, Lori, and Dustin, great-grandchildren: Alexandra, Andrew, and Alexander, brother: Stewart and Don, and sisters: Myrle, Marge, and Gladys.
Stan was a loving and devoted husband and father. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, generosity, and love of his family.
The family would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to all the staff of the Fraser Canyon Hospital and Fraser Canyon Hospice Society.
A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 @ 1:00 p.m. at Mountainside Funeral Home. Pastor Mickeal Hoffman officiated the Service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fraser Canyon Hospice Society in memory of Stan.
