It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tex Dick long time resident of Hope, BC. Tex worked at Canyon Cable over 10 years. Tex leaves behind his longtime partner, Jackie Johnson as well as two children: Christopher and Jennifer, four stepchildren: Angela Michelle (Dave), Davis Johnson (Trisha), Michelle Johnson (Terry-Lynn), Travis Johnson (Amanda), and three step grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his two brothers: Lucky (Stacia) of Falkland BC, Allen (Randy) of Barriere BC, and seven sisters: Mabel (Roy) of Armstrong BC, Laverne of Hope BC, Betty (Ken) of Agassiz BC, Barb (Gary) of Prince George BC, Janet (Dave) of Fort St. John BC, Virgina (Bob) of Armstrong BC, Pauline (Albert) of Falkland BC.
Tex was predeceased by his parents Abe and Alice and his sister Judy Dukes of Prince George BC.
A Memorial Service will be held at Spuzzum First Nation Hall, Spuzzum BC on February 28, 2009 at 1 pm. A luncheon will follow the service.
