In Loving Memory ~
Bill was born in Bralorne, BC and moved just outside of Hope BC to the community of Silver Creek in 1957.  The Kemash family owned the large corner lot on School Road and Bill resided there the majority of his life. The family had a busy homestead with five boys and a chicken farm on the property. Bill often spoke of his youth and had many memories of playing high school basketball on the Hope Mustangs and riding his bicycle or hitchhiking back and forth from town.
He was a very hard worker and spent most of his life working construction jobs both locally and in various remote camp locations throughout Canada. One of his proudest achievements was being part of the crew that built the famous Coquihalla Highway.  He enjoyed photography and was a naturally skilled handyman who always had a project or home repair on the go.
Bill moved to Chilliwack in 2016 and created a new life for himself. He was a very talkative fellow and he loved to chat or share a joke with everyone he encountered. Many thanks to the friends and neighbours at Yale Manor who helped create a community for Bill to lean on.
Bill is survived by his three children Danielle Quayle, Gordon Kemash and Margaret Kemash, also by two granddaughters Violet & Melody. His humour and regular phone calls will be dearly missed.
