Just putting this out there for all the people working in retail in Hope.
Customer service and product knowledge will keep us shopping here in town. A smile when we enter and a thank you when we exit goes a long way. If customers don’t get treated properly, they will go elsewhere and then you will be out of a job because the company you work for has no customers and they have to close down. Then residential property taxes will go up because there are no businesses to pay the taxes.
No matter whether you are employed by a small business, corporate business or government business, be proud of what you do and be happy that you are employed in this beautiful town. All it takes is a smile. Remember it is tourist season but this should be happening all year.
