Local boxing club holds its first event, Chilliwack fighters take all three wins

Three Chilliwack boxers swept a local amateur boxing event’s main card Saturday night at Tzeachten Hall during Chilliwack Boxing Club’s first event.

Tom McCormack beat out-of-towner Melvin Teagai in the main event, Calvin Tedesco won a unanimous decision over Vincent Lee and JJ Warren took Andrew Michel out with a TKO victory in the first fight of the evening.

All three winners of Fight Night Round 1 train out of the local club (now located at the Pacific Top Team gym on Vedder) , which hosted the BC Boxing sanctioned event at the Tzeachten venue.
